Mawkish - excessively and objectionably sentimental
Usage - The movie was a mawkish love story.
Link - mawk close to MOCK..so if someone mocks at you...and you are sentimental..then its a sad situation...
Link2 - "Maa" ka "kiss" hamesha sentimental aur emotional hota hai!..

Meager - scanty; inadequate
Usage - They had to manage on meager resources.
Link -  relate it to 'beggar'...he always has scanty money...
Link2 - meager = m + eager concentrate on "eager". A person is eager only when he/she is in a desperate need of something inadequate...or scanty in supply.....

Mealymouthed - candid, indirect in speech, frank
Usage - The crowd booed the mealymouthed politician.
Link - mealy+mouthed-you have stuffed your mouth with meals ,so speech is not proper...

Meander - move aimlessly and idly, wind or turn in its course
Usage - The stray cow set off on a meander off the hillside.
Link -  when pronounced GIVE THE sounds OF meAN+wANDER.....SO A MEAN PERSON always WANDER aimlessly...

Meddlesome - interfering,obtrusive
Usage - He was bustling about self-importantly, making an officious nuisance of himself.
Link - meddle(middle)+some..so when two people are talking WE SHOULD NEVER INTERFERE IN MIDDLE OF THEIR TALKS....

Meek - quiet, gentle and kind
Usage - The champion’s meek and self-effacing manner took everyone by surprise.
Link - MEEK --> WEAK...
Link2 - meeku..sounds like lil boy's name..n lil boys are submissive...

Megalomania - mania for doing grandiose things, mental disorder characterized by delusions of wealth, power, or importance
Usage - Adolf Hitler suffered from megalomania.
Link - mega means big .. mania means craze.. for doing things... therefore MEGALOMANIA means a CRAZE for doing things in a BIG way with a show of wealth and power etc....

Melee - fight
Usage - Letting out a shrill war cry, he plunged into the melee.
Link - A melee started between my friend and his wife when his wife kisi or ke sath jakar mili...
Link2 - sounds like Bruce Lee...famous for his fights...

Mellifluous - melodious, pleasant tune
Usage - The mellifluous music of the flute soothed her. 
Link -  the music played by a 'Flute' is mellifluous...
Link2 - Our mali(gardener) sang in mellifluous sound during Indian Idol MAli special..
Menagerie - collection of wild animals
Usage - He had a menagerie of exotic species on his estate.
Link - to MANAGE JERRY u keep then in zoo. simple!...jerry is a mouse in cartoon tom and jerry...

Mendacious - lying, habitually dishonest
Usage - Polly didn’t believe Peter’s mendacious statements. 
Link - mendacious = requiring mending (correction)....to make it true..

Mendicant - beggar
Usage - A mendicant approached me while I was waiting at the traffic signal. 
Link - All guys act as mendicant to get a gal's cunt...
Link2 - mendicant ~ Men + d I + Can t : men who say I can't, they don't like to work and sometimes start beggary...

Mercenary - working for payment only, motivated solely by money or gain
Usage - He was training to be a mercenary for the British.
Link - mercenary (merce - mercy + na - no; no mercy) = Judge should now show mercy to someone who killed his father just for money...
Link2 - To get a mercedes, you need to be a mercenary....
