Inure - accustomed, hardened, get used to something unpleasant
Usage - He was inured to the Alaskan cold
Link - sounds like injured....someone INJURED again and again will become TOUGH...

Invective - abuse
Usage - We should never use invective language
Link - sounds like invi(envy)+active...well an active envy..who doesnt want to see you sucessful...such a person wil try all ways to bring you down..hence he will use abusive and venomous langauge..to express his ill will for you..
Link2 - sounds like in+wake...when someone wake me up in the morning...i use invective language for him...

Inveigh - to criticize somebody/something, utter censure or invectice
Usage - He inveighed against the wasteful ways of modern society
Link -  its pronunciation is similar to envy...if u envy someone u *utter invectives* about that person...
Link2 - sounds like in this way...in this way i inveigh traffic conditions....

Inveigle - cajole, deceive, coax
Usage - We should never inveigle the innocent ones
Link - the girl was inveigling us with her gallan(punjabi word for talks...remember gal sun le soniye..)
Link2 - sounds like in veil. SO something that is concealed by a veil. Outward appearances are sometimes deceptive...

Inveterate - habitual
Usage - She was a inveterate smoker.

Link2 - sounds like waitor+rate....waitors are inveterate of telling the rates of the dishes present in their shop...

Invidious - unpleasant and unfair
Usage - He always used to do invidious comparison between his friends to make them fight.
Link - sounds like videos...our whole group(both girls and boys) went for a picnic...it was invidious to capture only girls videos in mobile on the part of our teacher...

Invocation - a prayer for help(used in invoking)
Link - sounds like vacation...her wife was invocating GOD when her husband went on a vacation with someone else....

Irascible - becoming angry very easily
Usage - Her behavior led to a irascible response from him.
Link - sounds like rascal..a rascal is one who is irritable, choleric, short-tempered & hotheaded..

Irate - very angry
Usage - We should never go near irate protesters
Link - sounds like high rates...the customers became irate when the prostitutes charged high rates...
Link2 - rhymes with "eye red". When does your eye become red? When you are ANGRY..

Irreproachable - blameless, beyond reproach, impeccable
Usage - He has lived a irreproachable life
Link - sounds like approachable....you should always approach that person who is free from any guilt or blame...never approach a person who has done sort of crime or you will also be involved in his activities...

Irrevocable - that cannot be changed
Link - vocabulary word meanings are irrevocable...

Isthmus - narrow neck of land connecting two larger bodies of land
Link - Consider the first letter(I) and the last letter(S). Remember the word as the isthmus between India and Srilanka constructed by Vanarsena :)
