Impasse - deadlock, situation from which there is no escape
Usage - They reached an impasse on the negotiations
Link - sounds like im(IMPOSSIBLE)+passe(PASS)....IMPOSSIBLE TO PASS through a canal, which has no way to escape...
Link2 - I am not able to get passing marks....so i couldn't go to the next class....it was an impasse for me...

Impeccable - flawless, without fault
Usage - His timing and technique were impeccable
Link - sounds like im+pecca(pakka.it was there in our science book in class 2)...pakka house is always faultless as compared to kutchcha house...

Impediment - hindrance, obstacle
Usage - His very inconsiderate actions were becoming an impediment for the launch of our product.
Link - sounds like i am peed(i hope u know the meaning of pee)..so the path was blocked because I peed on the floor...
Link2 - sounds like pad....imagine girls wearing pads are restricted to a lot of activities which they can't do..

Imperative - absolutely necessary, that must be done, critically important 
Usage - It is imperative that you go to the school and complete your paper
Link - you have to attend your "important r(el)ative "...and that meeting is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY and IMPORTANT..

Impetuous - acting or doing something quickly without thinking carefully, rash and violent
Usage - He has a habit of  impetuous display of spending and gambling
Link -  sounds like im(not)-pet-tuo(to)-us...a dog which is not our pet will be very VIOLENT and RASH....
Link2 - I am petu(eat a lot of things)...i always eat impetuously...
Link3 - sounds like impatient, an impatient person will be impetuous....

Impetus - moving force, momentum, stimulus, force of moving body
Usage - The impetus knocked him over
Link - Jab hume papa ne peeta....this gave an impetus in our studies...

Impinge - to have a noticeable effect(esp a bad one), influence, infringe
Usage - The effects are impinging on every aspect of our lives.
Link - sounds like i+m+ ping(e)..Someone continuously pinging you while chatting means he or she wants to influence you and then touch your heart....
Link2 - he poked him with a pin....the pain of pin was impinging on his face...

Implausible - impossible, unbelievable
Usage - He gave the teacher an implausible excuse
Link - sounds like impossible....something that is impossible is unlikely...
Link2 - Mission impossible is an implausible movie in reality....

Implode - burst inwards
Usage - The bottle imploded
Link - sounds like explode....explode means to burst outwards and implode means to burst inwards...

Implore - to ask somebody earnestly, beseech
Usage - I beg you to stop
Link - Implore sounds like in floor... The beggars are generally 'in floor' when they are begging...
Link2 - sounds like explore...We 'implored' the government to let us 'explore' the minerals... 

Impolitic - not wise
Usage - It was an impolitic approach to this sensitive issue
Link - Leaving IIM-A and going in politics is an impolitic decision

Imponderable - weightless, that cannot undergo precise evaluation
Usage - Human behavior depends on many imponderables
Link - sounds like I+M + POUNDS..if you have a choice between 100 pounds and 100 rupees...which one will you prefer...i think 100 rupees will look like weightless and you will go with 100 pounds...
